The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) is an institution established under the provisions of Article 163 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda. Its mandate, functions and powers are enshrined in the National Audit Act, 2008. The main function of the OAG is to audit and report on the Public Accounts of Uganda and of all public offices or bodies and/or organizations established by an Act of Parliament.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honors Bachelor's Degree Secretarial Studies or Office Management from a recognized University/Institution.
Working Experience:
•Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years working experience as an Executive Assistant/Personal Secretary in the Public Sector or reputable private sector organizations.
•Knowledge of the use of modern office equipment will be an added advantage.
Duties:
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Assistant Secretary for performing the following duties:
•Scheduling executive meetings and managing executive dairy of appointments;
•Assisting executives in taking meeting minutes/notes, preparing documents and presentations;
•Attending to phone calls and responding to stakeholders;
•Ensuring that reports and data files are arranged in a perfect manner;
•Ensuring client satisfaction with office services:
•Ensuring timely work and information flow to and from the Office:
•Ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the office;
•Requisitioning and managing office supplies:
•Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
