The Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation –Uganda headquartered at Mulago hospital is recruiting a Program Manager
Key Result Areas
• Develop and monitor the implementation of annual and quarterly consolidated work plans , procurement plans and budgets for Region as well as phasing in and phasing out of the projects /programs in line with various program objectives and Baylor Uganda financial guidelines
• Develop and maintain a component & motivated team of Regional leaders , through implementing HR support activities in line with various the Human resources manual .
• Develop strategies to strengthen civil society advocacy and campaigns to increase demand for services , community engagement in line with various program objectives and the MoH related guidelines
Specifications
• A Masters in Pediatrics or public health and must be registered with the relevant body.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing Health programs /projects with a reputable international NGO and direct experience with local governance and donor representatives Experience in HIV/AIDS and ART is an added advantage .
• Have ever written research abstracts and manuscripts and even presented in conferences or published
• Skills in resource mobilization most especially writing proposals
• Have Key personal competences in Team , networking and communication skills , must be dynamic , Persuasive & convincing , self-motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative
