Job Summary:
The National Project Professional Personnel-RHCS Coordinator will support harmonizing the planning and procurement of contraceptives and other reproductive health commodities within the comprehensive procurement plan of MOH. S/he will also support strengthening and improving the performance and quality of the existing policies and plans, systems and procedures for quantification, forecasting, procurement, storage, and distribution of RH commodities including alternative channels. NPPP-RHCS Coordinator will link the Reproductive Health Division of MOH, the Planning Department, Pharmaceutical Division, and National Medical Stores, procurement & supply chain management agents, Health Development Partners and the districts. The NPPP-RHCS Coordinator will also support districts to improve on the management and distribution of RH commodities. The RHCS Coordinator will work closely with the RH Coordinator in supporting the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the “Roadmap for Accelerating Reduction of Maternal and Neonatal Mortality and Morbidity in Uganda.”
