Duties & Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the installation of ICT hardware and software
•Administer and maintain network infrastructure
•Maintain controls in LAN and WAN infrastructure
•Install and regularly update antivirus software
•Participate in the management of the Data Centre
•Train and support users of Information Technology Systems and hardware
•Carry out regular backups and recovery procedures
•Perform any other duties as delegated by superiors
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
•The applicant should possess an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering from a recognised Institution
•Knowledge of Shell scripting languages such as Power Shell, Bash, PERL, CSCRIPT and Python
•Knowledge in use of LINUX, Windows Operating Systems and application software.
•Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, and network problems
•Good working knowledge of Network planning, administration and management
•Knowledge of Active Directory/LDAP
•Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
