Job Title: Laboratory Technologist / Technician – 3 Posts

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manages and accounts for all allocated resources.
•Participates in proper collection, handling and transportation of blood to the laboratory.
•Carries out laboratory analysis, interprets results and submits timely and quality reports.
•Requisitions for equipment and other laboratory supplies using the standard procurement procedures.
•Ensures that equipment is functional and well maintained, including but not limited to cleaning.
•Ensures adherence to safety measures against hazards.
•Participates in quality assurance measures for laboratories.
•Participates in research activities.
•Adheres to Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
•The candidate must have a National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques or its equivalent from a recognized Institution;
•The candidate must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council;
•Excellent communication skills as well as a team player.
•Knowledge of local language is an added advantage.
