Job Summary: The position holder will be responsible for coordinating the design, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of evidence-based training and mentorship for managers (at district & facility level) and health care workers in the Mildmay Uganda supported districts, contributing to the strengthening of the health systems’ capacity to deliver quality, sustainable care and support for people living with HIV and other emerging health issues.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree in Health or Social Care with a current practicing license with relevant professional body.
- S/ he must have at least 3 years’ teaching experience with demonstrable understanding of mentorship.
- He/she must have knowledge and experience of HIV/AIDS care as well as knowledge of Ministry of Health systems and district service delivery mechanisms.
- Ability to network and liaise with various partners is a requirement for this job.
Other qualities are:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills,
- Proficiency in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are crucial.
- Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- Must be flexible, reliable, able to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay
