(a) Post: Assistant Lecturer (1)
Qualification: (i) Masters Degree in Kiswahili
(ii) Minimum of an Upper Second Class Bachelors Degree majoring in
Kiswahili

3. Department of Mental Health and Community Psychology
a) Post: Professor (1)
Qualifications:(i) A PhD in Psychology, preferably Counselling, Clinical or
Health Psychology specialization
ii) Ten years of teaching experience
iii). Five new recognized publications since promotion to the rank of Associate Professor
iv). Supervision of 5 Graduate Students to completion. At least 2 (two) Graduate Students to completion since last promotion.
Duties: Teaching, examining and grading of Undergraduate and Graduates’ performance. Supervision of research for Graduate & Undergraduate Students. Mentoring Junior staff in academic growth & research. Providing academic leadership to the department.
(b) Post: Associate Professor (1)
Qualifications: (i) A PhD in Psychology, preferably Counselling, Clinical or
Health Psychology specialization
ii). Eight years of teaching experience
iii) Three new recognized publication in the area of specialisation since promotion to the rank of Senior Lecturer
iv).Supervision of three Graduate students to completion. At least 2 (two) Graduate students to completion since last promotion
