Job Title: Chief Finance Officer

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the finance department;
- Monitor and control the Corporation's expenditure to ensure economy, efficiency and effectiveness;
- Ensure that systems and policies exist to provide appropriate levels of security and control of resources and operations;
- Establish an annual budget cycle, coordinating the budgetary process and ensuring that the budget estimates match the annual operational plans in accordance with established policy;
- Maintain all accounting and financial data and systems necessary to record all transactions in accordance with the Corporation's policy, regulations and to International Accounting Standards;
- Prepare accurate and timely management and financial reports on the Corporation's performance and financial position over time;
- Develop and review internal controls that help in fraud detection and prevention;
- Managing the relationship with the external Auditors and Bankers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised institution and a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA;
- At least ten (10) years experience with at least five (5) in a senior management position
- Additional post graduate degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage;
- Computer literacy skills in MS Office and accounting packages such as Sun Systems, Navision and Pastel;
- Good interpersonal and analytical skills;
- Ability to innovate and build motivated and successful teams,
