Job Summary: The Programme Support Officer will support the project team in monitoring and implementing activities through data entry, maintaining databases, translation, record-keeping, and supporting the development of project documentation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- The Programme Support Officer must possess a bachelor’s degree in either information technology, statistics/epidemiology, demography, social sciences and/or development studies.
- At least three years' experience with related work in a challenging environment, preferably with an International NGO.
- The preferred candidate will have a basic understanding of Ngakarimojong and be proficient in English language both oral and written; Additional language skills in Pokot or Kiswahili is preferred.
- Computer literacy skills i.e. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook is essential.
- Working knowledge in using Microsoft Access. Iformbuilder and statistical software.
