About CDFU:
Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a non-governmental organization influencing positive behavior change for the social development of men, women and children in Uganda and the entire East African Region. CDFU is working with Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) on a two year project (Empower youth; Build a Nation); focusing on promoting youth participation in decisions that affect their lives and effective education on civic rights and responsibilities.
Job Summary: The Counselor will give telephone counseling, information and referral to callers with major emphasis on Civic Education (Democracy, Governance, and Accountability in leadership; Civic rights and responsibilities).
Requirements
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
The job holder will need to possess a University degree in Political Science or Bachelor of Laws Certificate in Counseling and Guidance is an added advantage
Good knowledge in civic education
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and positive attitude
Able to start work immediately
Youth Friendly, Nonpartisan
