The U.S. Mission , Uganda is recruiting qualified candidates for the vacant vacancy of a specialist.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
• Education required : Completion of master’s degree in public health , nursing , health policy , public administration or social sciences is required .
• Work Experience required : Three years of mid-to senior level public health experience in developing , Implementing and evaluating HIV/AIDS prevention or other public health programs that involve coordination with an international agency or implementing partiner is required.
• Knowledge required : Detailed knowledge of the current policy , programming and practice trends in the field of PMTCT, Early Infant Diagnosis and pediatric HIV care and treatment is required. Good working knowledge and experience in HIV/AIDS prevention , behavior change , care and treatment and testing is required .

• Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest , budget and visa status in determining successful candidacy .
• Current employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply .
