PEPFAR Uganda is recruiting qualified candidates for the vacant position above.
Qualifications
• Must be trained at a Registered Midwife level from a recognized Institution
Other Requirements
• Must be registered with the with the Nurses and Midwives Council .
• Must have a valid Practicing License
Duties
• Receiving patients , registering admissions , deliveries , discharges and deaths .
• Carrying out antenatal care and identify high risk cases for referral .
• Providing care during pregnancy , labor, delivery and puerperium with emphasis to ;prevention of infection and complications to mother and baby .
• Sensitizing ,others about benefits of breast feeding and recommended diet
• Participating in bedside nursing procedures as a member of the caring team.
