Key functions:
•Preparing laboratory reagents and stains for routine investigations
•Carrying out basic laboratory tests and submits reports to medical laboratory technologist
•Observing safety and quality assurance practices in laboratories
•Cleaning the laboratories equipment regularly
•Safety disposing off laboratory wastes
Qualifications:
•Must have a certificate in medical laboratory technology from a recognized institution
Experience:
•Possession of three years of previous relevant working experience would be of added advantage with one year of working in an infectious environment
Competence:
•Knowledge of good laboratory practices/laboratory quality management system
•Flexibility and good interpersonal skills
