Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sustain and improve operations of seed processing plant through process technology.
- Protecting company assets through a sound program of maintenance and risk management, including good housekeeping, plant administration, record keeping and proper security control.
- Ensure Seasonal productions volumes meet or exceed plan by ensuring plants operate at full capacity on a regular basis and by minimizing plant downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations in the country.
- Ensure that recurring problems are eliminated, by designing proper solutions to the problem during the plant operation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Seed Processing Officer should hold a Diploma in Agriculture engineering
- A minimum of five years’ experience in related field activities.
- Must be a self directed, well organized, goal oriented with enhanced problem solving abilities.
- Excellent and multi-discipline management skills
- Good working knowledge of personal computers and related business software such as work, Ms office access
