Main Job Responsibility
- Check technical drilling programs for all exploration wells
- Prepare Standard Drilling Instructions and assist in updating Drilling Manuals
- Guarantee the safe execution of agreed drilling programmed activities on time at the wells site
- Liaise with the senior drilling supervisor on any anomaly observed and proffer solutions
- Optimize the progress of the operations after discussions with the Base Geologist and Reservoir engineer
- Prepare detailed plan for the interventions of all contractors from services companies as well as logistic department for timely delivery and co-ordinate readiness of location
- Maintain and comply with TOTAL established HSE procedures and policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years experience in drilling and well completion in the oil and gas industry
- IWCF certification
- Previous knowledge in exploration and remote drilling
- Knowledge and understanding of logistic onshore area management
- Strong Knowledge and understanding of HSE related to the oil and gas Industry
