Main Job Responsibility
- Assist the technical teams (Drilling, Logistics, Geosciences and Procurement) in day to day business for all freight forwarding and expediting matters (import/export of equipment in accordance to local customs regulations.
- Administer the freight forwarder & customs clearance services contract.
- Administer the freight forwarder & customs clearance services contract
- Assist in liaison with customs authorities
- Maintain internal follow up of tool database
- Maintain and communicate all statistics related to Transit operations
Qualifications
- University degree in logistics, international trade or equivalent
- Proven experience in cargo handling
- Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
- 5- 10 years experience working with freight forwarders
- Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Access)
- Previous knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
