About KCH:
Katalemwa Cheshire Home (KCH) is a development organization established in 1970 and is committed to rehabilitate children with disabilities between 0-18 years. KCH focuses on both medical and social rehabilitation as well as provision of appliances/assistive devices to clients. KCH also promotes children’s’ rights to quality education and offers livelihood programmes to enable CWDs and their families live independent lives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervises the financial and accounting activities in consultation with the Executive Director.
Maintains and enforces compliance with internal control systems.
Prepares budgets and monthly management and financial reports for KCH to guide heads of departments.
Ensures that relevant documents for impending audits are readily available.
Perform any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Director or his/ her designate.
Requirements
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
The job holder should posses a bachelor’s degree in accounting, An accounting professional qualification e.g ACCA,CIMA,CPA will be an added advantage
Ability to work with spreadsheets at ease.
Navision software knowledge will be an added advantage.
At least three years experience in an accounting environment/job.
Ability to learn first the systems of the organization.
Ability to generate accurate and timely report very vital.
